"I think that we as America are becoming to babyish and need to let our bodies to their job."

I totally agree with Jeff here, Babyish is maybe putting it lightly. The media drives our fears and brings things that probably would never have been acknowledge years ago into the spot light. If you watch the news on any given night, you will learn that every household item may potentially kill you.

I think the whole thing has definitely been blown a bit out of proportion. When my brother called in sick to high school yesterday they immediately panicked and asked if he had the swine flu. Just wash your hands people! You'll be fine ;)

I've always thought this was a joke. I mean, the press has made a huge deal on it and while I think it may exist as a disease, the only way to prevent it is by washing your hands and practicing clean rituals.
This is why I think it's way out of proportion; can't all disease, or most of them, be prevented by washing your hands?

I think that we as America are becoming to babyish and need to let our bodies to their job.
I mean, our bodies have an immune system. And if you don't use it, then you have even a great chance of getting sick because your body isn't use to the disease type.
